Potion effects are always nice to have, but what if you had them off the bat at the start of the game even before you go into the nether And what if said equipment was the only way of getting potion effects? Introducing:The Mantles of Minecraft! Release Trailer: 

 

This pack introduces 17 Mantles based off the ones in the game Monster Hunter: World to give you vanilla spell effects early in the game. Each mantle has a unique effect and has a set amount of durability to keep things balanced.
 

CRAFTING & ABILITY’S:

First things first, you’re going to need to craft an item called “Mantle Fabric”. You will use this in every crafting recipe to craft the mantle you want to make.

MANTLE OF ABSORPTION:

Absorption Mantle:

“I’m a bullet sponge!”

- 5 Total Durability

When Worn:

- Grants +20 Absorption Hearts.

 

PRISMARINE MANTLE:

Prismarine Mantle

”Made from the heart of the sea. Literally.”

- 5 Durability

When Worn:

- Grants Conduit Power

 

FLAME MASTERY MANTLE:

Flame Mastery Mantle

”Burns, Burns, Burns, The ring of fire, The ring of fire.”

- 10 Durability

When Worn:

- Grants Fire Resistance

 

MINER’S HAVEN MANTLE:

Miners Haven Mantle

”Why are you bringing up Roblox? It’s just a mantle.”

- 10 Durability

VITALITY MANTLE:
