MCPE/Bedrock Better Iron Golems Addon

This addon as the objective of making minecraft's iron golems more cursed more logical in what is growing on them! This adds: vineless iron golems when created by players, and all type of vines iron golems, obtainable by interacting with the specific item. Also old Iron golems have now a better texture that resembles more glow berries.

 

I was casually in a village looking a the iron golems when I realized something: if you build an iron golem it should not have any vines since it's new... so I tried making a resource pack that would manage to do it but sadly I didn't find a way to make it work without a behavior pack. So I decided to keep both and add new variations to iron golems!

If you spawn an iron golem using the common method of iron block it will now be vineless!

When interacting with this kind of iron golem with a vine a button will show up! (currently supports vines, twisting vines weeping vines and glow berries, may add more in the future)

 

You can convert iron golems to village iron golems with glow berries

NORMAL (VILLAGE) GOLEMS LOOK LIKE THIS:

When using normal vine (swamp or jungle ones for example), the golem will look like this:

When using weeping vines (crimson forest ones) you'll get this golem:

And last but not least you can also use twisting vines (warped forest ones) to get this golem:

Installation

MAY NOT BEST METHOD - when downloadin from mediafire my files get an added .zip at the end, if you just have .mcaddon you can open it with minecraft

There are 2 metods:

  1. Download the file
  2. rename the final .zip part to .mcaddon
  3. open with minecraft
  4. play!

or

  1. Download the file
  2. extract the two folders inside the zip file
  3. move the resource pack in the resource packs folder on your device (may have different locations depending on your device)
  4. move the behaivior pack in the behaviour packs folder on your device (may have different locations depending on your device)
  5. if you imported everything correctly you can put the packs on a world and play
